Mummy had a little lamb

I have a new baby beanie in the works. This one is inspired from a photo a friend posted on my facebook timeline and some wool I stumbled across, that was perfect for it. I also needed a present for a baby shower, and so mummy’s little lamb beanie was created. The pattern is something I just worked up, mostly trying to figure out the easiest way to work the boucle yarn. Boucle yarn is not the easiest stuff to work with let me tell you. But the end result turned out really well. I’m hoping my friend likes it.

I’ve named the lambs already. White and pink is Milkshake, brown is Mocha & grey is Pepper. I’m liking my food themed names. The photographs above shows these 3 made from acrylic but I have also sourced some natural fibres of NZ Alpaca & merino. Oh they are delicious, natural colours too, and dye free. They have a little rustic natural look to them but just as sweet.

ps The little model of my little lambs is Juliana. The new owner of my flowers in the snow blanket. Her & her mummy love their blanket. Yay! 🙂
