Pop Baby Socks

So I have started crocheting my baby socks for the lovely Poppy&bee. I made my first pair for Emma earlier this year from happy-go-knitty hand dyed BFL sock yarn in a beautiful hot pink. I called them strawberry pop, after Emma. When I was pregnant, we nick named her Berry. Then strawberry pop just seems to suit the colour perfectly.
I showed them to poppy&bee and she loved them. So it started. I had my girlie colour, I needed a boy colour. I found a blended sock yarn of nz merino, alpaca, possum & nylon in a mix colour way of grey, green & blue. It is such a lush sock yarn and the colour reminded my of camouflage. So they were named jungle pop.
Poppy&bee has written a lovely blog about my pop socks and is selling them on her felt shop & market stall.
I have so many ideas now that I want to try out. I’ve started finding other yarns, of different blends and colours for new creations of pop socks.
I hope they’re a hit
